Union Pacific 7146 leads an eastbound coal train through Fremont, Nebraska on September 2, 2011.

I was going through my photos from my Fremont trip when I came across this great shot of a coal train I took from the Broad Street viaduct. I got the perfect frame, angle, light and focus on this one. I didn’t have to run it through any crops or edits.

Leading the eastbound coal train are two General Electric AC44CW units. Union Pacific number 7146 is in the front, and following behind is UP 6163 with the “Wings” logo on the nose. The “Wings” logo is basically blue wings with a white outline on either side of the Union Pacific logo. You can see the left wing in the photo.
